We are drifting with the current at the moment, helped by a couple of knots of wind. Tired of motoring, and we're doing 3 knots so it could be worse. Every now and then we have to motor as the battery gets low, and it's good to have a bit of speed for an hour or so. What is that poem about a painted ship upon a painted ocean? That's us, the sea is shiny calm, with big well spaced swells.
We've been trying to identify the (few) birds around - masked boobies and wedge-rumped storm petrels we think. Full moon at night which is great.
