We've had a very slow night, but this morning the winds picked up to 15 knots from the SSE, and at the moment we are sailing along very nicely at 6.5knots. Other boats 'with' us - but actually hundreds of miles apart - have had squalls overnight, but we've just had a bit of rain and dark clouds in the distance.
So we're having a busy morning - the bread is rising, and Geoff is chopping onions to casserole our last piece of land meat. We think it's leg of calf as it is very pale, had some fried as steak but not much flavour. Always difficult to choose the right bit when presented with a big chunk of animal in a little butcher's shop.
